sprite, club soda or 7-up and rum
now you are ready - crush fresh leaves with sugar and lemon or lime juice (like in the commercial) add ice, soda, rum and viola
I had the best Mojito at Bahama Breeze the other night, they use real sugar cane. I'm not sure if there's one in Del Mar though. Ask the locals.
