You get different strengths of Absinthe. I've got a bottle at home that is 80 proof - its absolutely disgusting!!!

What kind are you asking about? I've had some that are 38% and others that are 60%.

90% Kingfisher Strong

normally about 70 - 80
Lethal stuff!!!

think its 70 or around that

Not sure but I know it takes the enamel off your teeth, I had an 'episode' when I drank this and suddenly thought my name was David. Good stuff!

80% Thinking of it makes me want to vomit!!

45%-75% Alcohol By Volume

most absinthes contain between 60 and 75 percent alcohol by volume (120 to 150 proof)

The alcoholic strength varies although it's generally stronger than commercial spirits. It also contains wormwood which is a drug. The combination of alcohol and wormwood rots your brain and most other things as well.

Its the hallucigenic properties you drink absinthe for. Remember that scene from Dumbo where him and the mouse drink from the clowns' bucket? And they all get ****-faced? That was absinthe.

the stuff you can buy in the uk (lafee parisian) is 68% stuff abroad is allot stronger. I think its supposed to be 80% but then when you burn the sugar into it it doesnt matter, it will hit you like 100%

about 70-80%

it depends you can get different strenghs
i had a bottle of 80% proof that was green
its really not that bad.. and gets you very messy indeed!! hehe
