It is smoother and meant to be drunk more slowly. Like Jack Daniels.

i would go with none...but i dont like whiskey

It is a generic description for a smooth whiskey! It is a matter of taste.

Tennessee whiskey is usually referred to as sip pin whiskey don't know why though

sipping whiskey? doesn't that just mean like you sip whiskey as in like take little sips of it?

and also:
1. Sipping Whiskey

Doing something extremely queer. As real men chug or shoot their whiskey, taking the time to "examine" the flavor puts an individual's straightness in doubt.

That guy in a dress must be sipping whiskey.

That guy definitely takes it up the ***; he must be sipping whiskey.

You know how I know you're gay? Because you sip whiskey.

I drink whiskey and it's NOT a drink that can be gulped, at least not be me, lol
I sip it or drink it slowly, plus it's a lot smoother that way, then again that's me....

not sure. i don't "sip" whiskey, maybe it is a connoisseur term for finer whiskey. i prefer to slam it because it BURNS!!!

EDIT: i think ALIVE might have a point though, although im not a man, real men dont sip whiskey!!!

For me, it depends on the price.
Jack Daniels or Dewars, I gulp.
An expensive single-malt scotch, I sip.
When I pay $10 or more for a shot of whiskey, I like to take my time and experience the flavor, and not simply toss it down.

It's an Old favorite of an Alcoholic!

its good but it takes too long to get drunk because your just sipping not shooting it like your suppossed too
