This is me personally..
where I am from..there is just nothing else to do I guess.. I have been pondering this question for a long time...and came up with...everything *including gas stations* close at like 9 or 10..and there is just nothing else to do except go to the bar and have some drinks..
when we drink at home..its to relax and let loose..
and when its at parties...its usually a party Im dragged to by my husband..so I drink to ignore the uptight people
praps life in uk is stressful so most adults choose to relieve stress by having a drink or 2.
Have no idea has i have not had a drink since 2006.I just went off it.
I hardly drink anymore so can't answer that question!
im not sure. i have never drinken in my life yet. My whole school is like filled with alcoholics. They all get caught and stuff it's not good. i feel that people drink because they aren't soposed to. If the drinking age was lower i think there would be less drinking
How much??? I'm sure I drink less than that! But on the other hand maybe I drink more. Who knows?? Who cares??? Happy drinking!!
I have not drunk alcohol since last August!!!
3 reasons;
1, fed up of feeling rough- getting migraines from too much wine
2, split with boyf who used to drink socially with or share wine
3, passed driving test so I always drive everywhere now and wouldnt risk drinking and driving (even one)
I worked in pubs for 8 yrs whilst studying and feel that people drink socially
Because it's fun... and get waasted thats why
cause im thirsty that's why! i wish i could order some water before i have alcohol i won't drink that much that quickly!!
It passes the time quite amiably I find. It improves my skills in love making, driving and operating heavy machinery, makes me a better dancer, and a church service simply flies by if one is feeling slightly refreshed.
Is there no limit to the miraculous powers of alcohol?
Drink how much? I'm sure I drink less then the average person, although according to AA I am an alcoholic (I have a drink daily, and I feel that I must have a drink daily, welcome to retail)
I don't know. its really not that fun. I've kinda gone past my OMGOHS LETS DRINK TILL WE PASS OUT stage... so i really don't know why i did.
Intoxicates you
Loosens inhibitions
Makes you more social
Relieves stress and anxiety
Helps you sleep
Gives some people euphoric feelings
Helps you in an uncomfortable situation
There are plenty of other reasons but those are the main ones.
Oh and it makes you more attractive to the opposite sex meaning when you get a girl intoxicated she is more likely to sleep with you.
Helps when you're going through a divorce. Things aren't as bad as they seem anymore.

It's the heat and the salty snacks that do it.
