I had asked a question earlier about jello shots now i was wondering what do you guys think is the best recipe for them for people to get wasted on. Like what are some strong ones and which do you like? And which brand of alcohol should i use and what kind and how much haha thats alot of questions but im asking because i want to make them for my birthday.

Make them using the recipe on the box. The cold water portion should be 1/2 water, 1/2 cold liquor. Orange for tequila, red for vodka, green for rum.
Bacardi works best for me! and instead of 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rum, use 1/2 cup boiling water, add it to the jello and get it good and dissolved, throw in one ice cube to cool it a little, then add 1 and 1/2 cup rum.
If you want to get drunk only use liquor and no water. The strongest alcohol which tastes okay is bacardi 151 but any will do without water. haha. enjoy
I like to use all of the liquor and no water... that'll get you pretty drunk...
Here are some other popular liquor and Jello flavor combinations:
Lime Jello with tequila and Triple Sec
Lime Jello with Coconut Rum
Orange jello with orange cognac and brandy (such as Grand Marnier) or peach Schnapps
Unflavored gelatin with Coca Cola and rum
Cranberry Jello with vodka

Raspberry jello with raspberry Schnapps
Tropical fruit Jello (or unflavored gelatin mixed with fruit punch) with dark rum or mango liqueur

Best flavor to make jello shots in are pineapple and orange. If you really wanna get people wasted try using Greygoose or a flavored Smirnoff (not the coolers). Those work even better. Also, if you're looking to get people REALLY wasted try making some Harry Buffalo. You buy a bunch of fruit (strawberries, lemons, oranges, pineapples, apples, grapes, etc.) and cut it up and put it in a big water cooler then put some Everclear in and let the fruit soak in it for a couple days. The longer you let it soak, the more potent it will be. It tastes just like Kool Aid but will get you drunk off your *** after 1 cup.
Bo's “Jello Shots” Recipe
Ingredients:
3 packages of JELL-O?, preferably with sugar
3 cups of boiling water
2 cups of vodka
Instructions:
Dissolve 3 packages of JELL-O? in 3 cups of boiling water.
Stir in 2 cups of cold vodka.
Pour into cake pan, small cups, or Jiggler molds.
Refrigerate until firm (about 4 hours).
This “Jello Shots” recipe makes:
5 cups of jello ― in a cake pan (cut into servings after it sets up); or
16 portions of 2.5 ounces of jello ― so each portion contains exactly one ounce of vodka. Maybe use Jiggler molds or small disposable cups.

Bo's Advice
My sister Bo's advice is to refrain from using more booze, for two reasons:
The jello never gets firm (the alcohol acts like antifreeze); and
The party ends too soon ― everyone is drunk.
The folks at WebTender.com also advise against using Everclear (190 proof grain alcohol) instead of vodka, citing potency (reason # 2). See their drink recipe 2200, which Bo credits for her recipe.

If you try any of the above variations from WebTender.com, I recommend you keep to the proportion of ingredients used in Bo's recipe, or add a box of Knox Gelatin to the ingredients so they set up (gel) nicely, because, if the jello isn't firm, you have drinks, not Jello Shots.
Package Size
I have been asked what size package of Jell-O to use. I only know of the size whose recipe is:
One package of Jello
One cup boiling water
One cup cold water
Anyone know how big the "big" package is? I have never seen a larger sized box.
Here's an idea, get some 50ml plungers (cyringes with no needles)...whip up your jello shots and SUCK 'em into the plungers (which are also used to give babies their medicine).
Toss 'em in the fridge...then when you buds come over...just start handing 'em out. LOL you get a lot of weird looks but you'll be a HIT that night.
Oh and use cheap vodka. No point in wasting the good stuff on jello shots...you never taste the alcohol anyway.

tip: dont make them too strong, because then theyre arent fun and able to sip down as easily...and get drunk faster. but jello shots are definatly a favorite. remember, the easier they are to eat, the more people will, and the more they will become intoxicated!
