Is it harmfull to the human body to drink beer that has been froozen and then thawed out?!

Question: Nothing adverse happens to the beer when it freezes.

Beer typically has 4 ingredients water, malt, hops, and yeast. The malted grains are mashed and turned into a sugar water called wort. The wort is boiled and hops are added at select intervals. After boiling for a set time period the wort is cooled and yeast is "pitched" into the wort. The yeast then eats the sugars and converts them to alcohol. Beer is actually a living thing at one time. Most beer you purchase in the store however is filtered and all the yeast is removed.

Bottom line, if your beer froze it is just the water in the beer freezing. It will not hurt you but it may not be the best beer you've ever had either! Let it thaw before opening it and you may not even notice a difference.

not that i am aware of, been there done that!

I can't imagine it would be harmful, but I can't imagine that the beer would be worth drinking, either. Freezing would probably mess up the carbonation and the flavor.

it dosent tast like it should,
i drink it ,im not dead yet...........

If your beer is fresh, you won't experience any health problems as was stated. However, if the expansion of the water while freezing breaks the seal on the cap you'll lose most of the carbonation in the bottle, and if you let it sit, the beer, over time, can become contaminated.

No its not harmfull, just stupid, the beer will taste rank

Not at all. That's how "Ice" beer is produced.

No, but why would you freeze it?

neah,i did that lots of times and im still here

I think you shouldn't drink, plus does not taste too good
