its meant to appeal to a college buyer. so its made cheap, as you probably noticed the price. you always get what you pay for, so keep that in mind.
now, UV isn't actually a good vodka, but if you mix it anyways it won't be bad.
i think skyy is overpriced. svedka isn't too harsh, but is just a little overpriced as well. i usually go with ketel one, couple bucks more is worth it.
for a party, though, UV is good enough, as is smirnoff.

I tried the grape UV and it wound up sitting in a cabinet for almost a year. I didn't care for it too much. No more UV for me! Sky vodka isn't that great either. Gives me a headache.

If you get the flavored versions of UV it is really good. Get the blue raspberry and mix it with lemonade. You can't even taste it and I really recommend this drink!
The grape is also really good with sprite. It tastes a little like cotton candy.
For the price and the great taste, it's hard to pass up some UV. I love it!
It is OK skyy is a good comparison. May I recommend Svedka Vodka, as good as the high end brands but the same price as UV. Wine Spectator Magazine rated it above Stoli and Absolute.
