if you drink it quickly it does. if left to sit any length of time then no. something kinda nice about a frosty mug anyway

I agree with you, it stays colder longer then if you were to pour it into a warm glass.

I've seen it ice up the beer in the mug. it certainly keeps it colder longer than a warm glass

Yes it does.. that's why most places will give you a frosted mug. I keep mugs and Pilsners in my freezer door... As soon as they come out of the dishwasher, I rinse them a little bit to get them wet and stick them right in the freezer and we always have frosted mugs in my house!!

Yes, it certainly does.

If you've ever been to a place that serves you a beer in a mug or glass that just came out of the dishwasher (and is warm), you know it makes your beer warm and yucky.

A nice frosty mug makes your beer very cold, and very good, as that's how beer should be served.

Mmmmm . . . frosty mug . . . wish I wasn't drinking out of this darn can right now! :)

i agree with gin

I think you should try to suck one down in one and see for yourself!

Yes it does jus try not to let what ever ur drinkin sit for too long. And once again the hubby is WRONG!!! LOL j/k

Most drinks in a cold frosty glass are better. Even rootbeer. MMMMMM.... I want rootbeer now. lol

Well, a frozen mug will of course take longer to warm up than a room temperature mug.

But, for beer a frozen mug is a definite no-no. Mainly, the frost inside the beer mug melts and adds water to the beer. Even though the water added is fairly small, it can also give the beer a different flavor (namely, whatever the air of your freezer tastes like since the frost is frozen water vapor from the freezer).

So, I say you should use a clean mug from the cupboard or if you want, you can put it in the fridge, but not the freezer.
