What does vodka bring to a recipe? Like in a mixed drink? Or in an Ice Cream Pie....?!

Question: What are the top, most favored vodkas? I'm not looking for a "sting." Want the smoothest I can find.

Ordinary Vodka shouldn't taste of anything much; it just adds alcohol. Flavoured vodkas come in all sorts of tastes from Cherry to Chili so take your pick and enjoy!

Stolichneya - best vodka money can buy - IMO

For a twist, drop some strawberries or raspberries in a bottle of vodka and then drop it in the freezer over night. Next dasy, lovely vodka and some interesting fruit!

Cant go wrong with HRD. no really try grey goose its good stuff

The same as an Alcoholic brings to a devastating lifestyle!

i prefer absolute, try making mac and cheese with it !!! i ran out of milk and didnt want to use water so i used vodka... damn was it good and i cought a buzz!!!

Vodka is the preferred liquor in many mixed drinks because of its relatively neutral flavor. It is included in shots because of its higher alcohol content in comparison to the other liqueurs.

The best top shelf vodka for your money is Grey Goose. A shot of chilled Grey Goose goes down incredibly smooth and it works well in any mixed drink.

For a (relatively) cheaper premium alternative, I personally use Ketel One. It's fairly standard issue stuff for most bars so it's not difficult to come by and it rolls off the tongue a lot easier than "Stolichnaya".
