What is the legal abv limit for alcohol sale in the UK?


Answers:
I'm not sure there is a limit as you can buy Methylated and White Spirit in most hardware shops and they are pretty close to 100% - Just not nice for drinking!. In London bar I once had something called Polish pure spirit and I think that was 76% ABV and I have bought Absynth at 70% ABV in an off-licence in Soho.
