Favorite Jell-O shots flavor??
I'm having a party Friday night and am going to the store tomorrow to get stuff to make Jell-O shots. Right now I have mango vodka and was planning on getting peach Jell-O (I've made them before, they go well together!). But I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for OTHER flavors of alcohol/Jell-O to use that you recommend. I'm open to ANY suggestions! Thanks!

To answer your question, Jen, I buy peach flavored Jell-O and make it just as it says on the box. However, instead of adding cold water, add mango vodka. I bought Burnett's mango vodka cause it's cheapest. Another way I've made them is doing 1/2 cup of the mango vodka and 1/2 cup peach schnapp's. Those were good, too. Or you could do 3/4 cup vodka, 1/4 schnapps, or vice versa.

we used the new green apple jello with apple pucker mmmmmmmmmmmm.......... they taste just like green apple jolly ranchers

GRAPE and strawberry are the best. We usually substitute one cup of cold water for vodka :X, but they are usually really good. :]
I once worked at a bar that specialized in making jello shots. We experimented with 20-30 different flavors but by far our most popular mainstay was the Champagne jello shot. Use a good brut, or even a Rose Champagne and follow the recipe just as you would with any other spirit. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

Cherry or the blue flavor would be good. Heck, I'm not picky, any of them would be yummy! I've had some jello shots that were really good and others that just tasted like pure alcohol. I'm having a get together in a couple weeks at a hotel, I would love to bring jello shots. Would you mind sharing your recipe?
I tried jello shots with cheep vanilla vodka, it was awesome with cherry and orange jello.
It was suggested to me, that rather than jello shots, to soak gummy worms in vodka & let everyone nibble on these. Have been told they are good but have not tried it.
