What Is Your Favorite Summer Beer?
What is your favorite beer to drink during the summer? I am not looking for answers such as Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, etc... I am looking for something new to try while I am at the beach this summer. I am usually a fan of Blue Moon with a slice of orange while I am on the beach. But I am looking for a new microbrew or rare beer. Any suggestions?

there's the old standard harpoon ipa, sammy's summer wheat ale, ....geary's pale ale, magic hat, etc. there is also one, i think it's dogfish....or something about shark, but they have a 30minute ale and a 60 minute ale (the 60 minute is heavy enough that they only sell it in a 4 pack)--excellent for sitting on the back deck with your feet on the railing as the sun goes down.

If you like Blue moon, you'd also like Hoegaarden, an other Belgian beer, with a slice of lemon.
If possible try to get hold of Lingens blond, I do like that one too in the summer.
Belgium has the most tasteful beers I can think of.
One of my husbands favorite is, La Choufe, a beer with coriander, very good.
Try Solera, in green can!
i prefer the mexican corona in the summertime,or the cypriot Keo.
I just tried that Blue Moon and did not care for it at all....though I didn't try it with an orange. In the summer I like a regional brand called Leinenkugels. Made in Chippewa Falls WI. They have different varieties but I like the original yellow label the best. Ice cold and in a bottle too, please!
St Rogue Red from Rogue Brewery in Oregon, Red ale with nice hop content. Enjoy.
Carlton Cold, it has a clean crisp refreshing taste thats perfect on those hot Australian summers.

I think Stella Artois is a great all-season beer imported from Belgium... if you can find it, try Grasshopper from Calgary, Canada. It is wheat beer and is usually served at pub in that region with a lemon wedge. Absolutely DELICIOUS!
