Why do you hardly ever see Murphy's Stout or Beamish Stout in bars these days?!

Question: I'm rather fond of draught Guinness, but I think I like Murphy's and Beamish just as much, if not more than Guinness.

That's a very good question there Bill - I'm going to hazard a guess here and say that probably Guinness is more popular and well known than Murphy's or Beamish, so more pubs I think will stick to the known quantity that sells rather than the unknown one!! It is a shame, because I like Murphy's too - it's got a slightly smoother and sweeter taste than Guinness!! Great question honey - have a star!! xxxx :o) xxxx

Supply and demand.....

Changing fashions, remeber last summer, Magners cider everywhere.

It's just not commercial enough. I've noticed alot of pubs will only stick to 4 or 5 beers, largers, etc on tap.

Because it's so B****y expensive.

It's just not so popular now. They only supply stuff that sells.

unless u go to a real ale house or locals pub its a trend to drink lager and wine plus half todays bar staff cant change a barrel or keg or pull a decent pint
