What are some good mixed drinks to make with vodka?!

Question: recipes please!

Answers: recipes please!

50/50 is how I like to drink! With ice. These are great to mix it with:

OJ
Cranberry juice
Apple juice
Vanilla Coke
OJ+vodka+grenadine

I'm positive coke is most popular.

I really like those V8 Smoothies. The Banana Colada one is to die for! I'm tellin you, try it out! Put it in the blender with some ice and vodka. YUM!

Kamakaze shots

You will need:
Vodka (1 part)
Triple sec (1/3 part to every 1 part vodka)
Juice of choice (I usually use cranberry or Lime, 1 part for every 1 part Vodka)

Put in a shaker and in enjoy!

I really like it mixed with any of the fruity v8 drinks!

plain or flavored vodka?

Plain, vodka tonic is a standard, vodka and cranberry, Vodka and grapefruit juice

A girly good tasting one is Pear Absolut, tall glass filled with ice, shot of the vodka (or a little more), then fill the remaining with 1/2 apple juice and 1/2 cranberry

Another one is Absolut Ruby Red, in Cranberry Juice with a lime wedge

Cosmospolitan: Pour 2 oz vodka, 1oz Cointreau (you can use triple sec, but Cointreau is better), 2oz cranberry juice, and 1/2 oz lime juice into a shaker with ice. Shake hard, strain, pour into chilled martini glass.

For a jalapeno martini, you can infuse the vodka with fresh peppers for a day or two, or you can add juice from a jar of pickled jalapenos the way you would add olive juice to a dirty martini. The jalapeno martini is not for the faint hearted---delicious, but on FIRE. :)

Vodka over ice in a tall glass with half club soda and half cranberry (or other juice of your choice) is always refreshing.

Vodka lemon drop martinis are tasty, too. There are many variations, but this is a basic one:
Pour 2 oz vodka, 1oz Cointreau or Triple Sec, 2 oz simple syrup, splash fresh lemon juice into shaker over ice. Shake, strain, pour into chilled martini glass (sugar rim optional).

Or just have a vodka lemonade on the rocks.

Oh, and that guy with the answer at the top doesn't know what he's talking about---vodka and coke is just plain WRONG.
