How long can a breathalyzer detect any alcohol on your breath?!

Question:

How long can a breathalyzer detect any alcohol on your breath?

I'm not asking about being legal to drive. I'm asking about detecting any alcohol at all.

Answers:
The breathilyzer will detect the alcohol as long as there is any in your system. I work in a jail, and we have had people come in at 2 or 3 am quite drunk, and the next day at noon, they will still blow a lot of alcohol. Normally on average, a person loses 0.05 of alcohol per hour after they stop drinking.

Until you are sober! Don't drink and drive. That includes being hungover or when you wake up still drunk.

Your question was how long. About 12 hours if you are really inebriated.

if you had drink alcohol then it will detect no change of escape .
