It's not "legal" per se, but if you are caught with under a certain amount on you, you will not be charged. It is only a criminal offense if you have over a certain amount, if you are growing it, or if it is obvious you are dealing it (dozens of lil pieces wrapped up in tinfoil and such).

NO we are not that lucky, small amounts of pot are a misdomeanor. they take your dope and you likely get a small fine or suspended sentence . Growers usually get jail time, grow more-go more. But we need pot here cuz it is too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer to go without

No, but in Vancouver the police have officially stated that weed is their lowest priority. So until every other crime is solved, they won't enforce those laws. And Vancouver is a pretty cool place to hang out.
