Answers: I KNOW THAT EVERY SINGLE WINE IS DIFFERENT, BUT WHAT I WANT TO NKOW IS THE USE OF WORDS TO PERSUADE THE COSTUMER INTO BUYING THE WINE

i would first try to find what the guest prefers for there chardonnay dry, oaky fruity etc.

then give them a brief description on the chard's we serve

exp: ma'am sir, perhaps you would be interested in trying our
_____ chardonnay. it has a nose of apricot and peach. it is a long finish wine with palets of apple.

hope this helps

oh and it is always good even if they are only buying by the glass to offer them a small sip before they commit to purchasing. if they do like it then you can just fill up the glass to full pour. if they do not like it then offer the alternative to taste.

if someone wants wine if eatin fish ,always offer white ,
"sir we have a really nice chardonay" with meat offer the red wine u sell

You find out first what they like to eat.
Then you find out if they like Red or White some people don't care if they have a Red with fish.
Then you recommend a wine let them taste the wine my selling point after they say what about if i do not like it after you opened the bottle? What will you do with that wine and i will say we will drink it ourselves madam or sir. It always works.
