Do you have to have salt and lemon before drinking tequila?!

Question: why do people do that? (non drinker here)

Answers: why do people do that? (non drinker here)

No, it's for people who can't handle the "burn".

It's used as a "chaser". Often the salt and lemon are referred, slangly, as "training wheels". LOL

no, salt and lime

No.. lol its just because it adds a little kick to their experiences.

I dont do it.. its a shot thing. I find it making the tequila taste like cr@p.

It adds a little more excitement to the drink. You actually use salt and lime. It is so great. I don't need salt and lime to drink it. If I really want it, I will drink it without anything.

I don't, but I have before. It sort of flavors the tequila, and makes it a little smoother going down.

When drinking shots, usually to try and make the taste of the alcohol less strong, people have some salt and lemon. It helps them not throw up or just for taste.

no but it makes it better. I prefer salt and a lime myself.

NOPE!!
tequila should be taken in pure!!...
