Has anyone tried "Chaser" the hangover pills?!

Question: I was just wondering if anyone has tried them before, and if they worked?

Answers: I was just wondering if anyone has tried them before, and if they worked?

I've tried them before, and in my experience, they did not work IN THE LEAST. Essentially, all they are are little pieces of coated charcoal in a pill shape.

Don't waste your money or get your hopes up, just try to avoid sugary drinks or liquors made from sugar (mixers, rum) and drink a cup of water for every one or two alcoholic beverages. You might want to also try taking an OTC pain killer like Tylenol or Advil right before bed to avoid the dreaded headache, or maybe munch on some saltines.

In the event that you do get a hangover, my parents used to tell me the best remedy is a Vanilla Egg Cream (if you're not from the NYC Metro area, like me, you've probably never heard of it, but it's pretty much the definitive New York drink). It's a simple mixture of about 2 Tbsp or so of Vanilla Syrup (but you can substitute Chocolate or Strawberry if you prefer), approximately 1/4 cup of 2% milk, & 3/4 cup of plain seltzer water. You should add the seltzer last, so that you get a bubbly head... & then you just stir it. I know, in theory it sounds disgusting, but I promise, it is THE BEST. It's really gentle on the stomach & the bubbles help you burp. Or, if you're not too adventurous, ginger ale should do the trick.

Sorry I went off on such a tangent, but any one of these options is better than spending money on something with the expectation that it will help you avoid a hangover & ultimately waking up feeling as though you've been hit by a truck.

not tried them...are they still on the market? i bet they don't work, just another scam like the airborne crap lol

No they dont!!!!

yes i have and they are a over-sized aspirin really. they try to keep your body from being dehydrated so that the affects of a hangover aren't as bad. there OK if you haven't consumed too much to drink.
