Best Cabernet S from Trader Joe's?!

Question:

Best Cabernet S from Trader Joe's?

I'm looking for a good, but not expensive Cabernet S. from Trader Joe's. Any ideas?

Answers:
This is from my personal winetasting notes on wines at Trader Joe's $5 or less. The TJ Coastal stuff is also pretty good, as is The Chilean Collection:

J.W. Morris Cabernet Sauvignon - typical cab, not too complex, but with just enough tannin to handle a nice piece of beef and just enough acidity to hold your interest

Charles Shaw Cabernet Sauvignon - before dinner wine with cheese and crackers… this is fine. Not complex at all but fine for a not-so-special night when you’re just looking to relax over the paper. All the “Two-Buck Chucks” seem really drinkable to me.

La Boca Cabernet Sauvignon - Okay, so this one I can drink easily with no food... not too many tannins, obviously. I'm really liking this stuff from Argentina, so perhaps not the best judge... this one proclaims plums, prunes and black currant and says it's good with roasted or grilled meats and spicy vegetable dishes. I get a hint of prune leaning toward licorice... almost (interestingly enough, you'll get this if we're close to the same age) like Fletcher's Castoria - lol Prune leaning licorice with a whiff of medicinal... but you have to search for it a bit on your palate. It's actually really good and we had it alone... and then with some pre-cooked chargrilled beef/chicken burgers that were half-price at the grocer's... and it was very good :) Again... these are not high end, but they don't all need to be. This is another with a nice finish, even though it's a low dollar wine.

Charles Shaw.
