Did you know you can make your soda cold during summer time?!
i did like to share with you all , get the shovel and dig it until 3 or 4 feet deeper... get your sodas or beer cans then wrap with the plastic bag then put it in the hole where you dig it out, then cover with dirt.
wait until the morning then dig it out get that soda or beer cans out, now you have cold drink!
i wonder did anyone knew about this?
Answers: if your ice ran out , because of too hot outside; what will you do if your ice is out of order? store closed.

my gram grams tought me that one.
I'm pretty sure I won't be digging up my yard to cool my soda off since I have a refrigerator in my kitchen.
This is good to know. In our area the electricity goes of often and it gets very hot in the summer. I think I might store extra drinking water in the ground with the sodas.
Thanks for the tip!
You can make ice in a desert, too! :)
You need two un-glazed ceramic bowls or jugs, that will fit inside each other. in between the two, you pack wet sand, and soak the clay bowls as well. Then leave them in the sun, with whatver you want "cold" underneath, and as the water evaporates out of the outer layer, it cools the inside enough to act as a refrigerator, or, in some cases, a freezer.
(This is the same principle your freezer in the kitchen uses, just with different materials).
It won't work very well in humid environments, or when it's not particularly sunny.. but it's a fun experiment on those dry, hot, long summer days.
