For all the drinkers out there,,,,,,,,has anyone ever drank for 52 hours straight with no sleep?!
Answers: okay i am living in china places here are 24 hour service,,,,,my friend and i drank for 52 hours straight with no sleep,, must of drank about 60 beers each.........when i stopped. i had the dt's and was really afraid,,,, it was stupid.... since then i have giving up drink. i find it very hard but managing....... if your a drinker then you know the dt's,,, shakes,, nervousiness,,,etc..did it effect you or do you still drink?.. my friend still does...whats your opinion...i know i am lucky to be alive consuming that much in one sitting...has anyone had the same experience? cheers
Most I've ever done was probably 26 hours straight, St. Patrick's Day 2007... Started drinking 6 am straight through to the next morning... I probably had in the vicinity of 40+ drinks in that time. Still, I'm a girl & I've been known to kill nearly 1/2 handle of vodka in a couple hours. If you alternate your alcohol with water, you really shouldn't have any problem. It sounds to me like you were just dehydrated.

No but pretty close. Did you wet the bed when you finally fell asleep. That's really only like alittle more than 1 beer every hour. I drank a gallon of milk under a half hour.

Nope, I cut down on my drinking drastically after i broke my arm after too much rum.
i find that when i have consumed that much alcohol your body is alcolised the symptoms will include sleeplessness gutrot paranoia and general malaise these symptoms can last 3 days,but rest assured will fade and you will feel better after 3 days. to eat as soon as you can and next time you go on a bender ,eat, eat this will help to keep you alve and if you remain alive will reduce the toxcisity of the binge,if poss drink loads of water before bed.
I've never done anything like that, and I don't think I could. I don't think I could stay up 52 hours straight anyways(sober), were you guys doing cocaine also?
I have a friend who has been on two binges before. It starts out with him just drinking casually, then he starts in on some liquor, and then he gets upset about this girl he likes but she doesn't like him (to make a long story short). So he keeps drinking, finally passes out at like 5 or 6 in the morning. Wakes up at like 8 or 9 (in the same morning) and just starts drinking again. He might take a 30 min power nap sometime that day, but he keeps drinking until he goes to sleep later that night. He usually looks pretty bad too. But both times that was the extent of his drinking, and he was okay the next morning both times.
I don't know what the "dt's" are, but sometimes if I party pretty hard, the next morning I am kind of shakey and nervous. Because of that I sometimes won't drink for at least a week, but it has never stopped me from drinking all together.
If you'd drunk sensibly, you could have drunk in the region of 77 beers (dependent on size and strength).
You obviously binged and then rested, otherwise you would not have suffered DTs!

I seldom drink these days, but I was taught how to hold my beer by the Yorkshire Coalminers. In my young and stupid days, I used to be a member of a champion "drinking team".
We'd beat the pants off anybody at speed and endurance drinking! In one challenge, I drank 2 gallons of 5% beer in one hour and took $500 off the stoopid Yank! I didn't know much for 24 hours but the money (when $500 was about 2 months' pay) was a very nice bonus!
What would you do at a traditional Greek Wedding, where the men might binge for 5 days!

hm kinda.i went to greece with my school for 7 days.had like 20 hours of sleep during the whole week and was drinking every day from like 12pm - 05:00 am
yes i drank for 4 days solid no sleep my mates stag party in ireland never again took me 3 days to recover slept most of it my wife thought i was only going for 2 days cant rember most of it sare to say still with her only just
