Its not a job where you'll know what you'll be getting every night just like serving, you usually are paid in tips not a regular salary. Every place is different with requirements but usually you have to work at the place as something else in order to get a feel how they work. As for drinks, some require just common drinks while others will want a whole bunch of different ones. Its not an easy job but its not overly hard either.
Being a bartender is awsome!
As for doing it through college if ur classes are early morning then forget it!
you also need to be very patient and relaxed.
