i would think that'd be kinda crazy, and totally unprofessional but i was just curious if that's ever happened to anyone?

ok, first of all, two GUYS answered your questoin...one question of my own...how would they know??? but most girls go to women doctors especially when older but i'm sure it does happen because we live in a crazy world...consider the recent shootings of Virginia Tech...so sad and crazy so of course, and you're right that is totally unprofessional and i'm sure they will or have been locked up. ((:
Yup -happened to me just a couple of weeks ago at the orthopedic surgeon's office. He must have a foot fetish (I was there for my knee - ACL/MCL repair, etc.) because he had me take off my shoe and held my foot while he asked the exam questions and turned it this way and that, etc. Then he started to talk about other things, but kept holding my foot and kind of rubbing it while it was in his lap. I'll leave it up to your imagination as to what happened next, but I'll say this much: it was CREEPY!! I couldn't wait to get out of there, and won't be going back any time soon! At least he wasn't an OB/GYN and having that sort of "reaction" mid-exam.....
