My friend told me wine is good with ande's mints or junior mints.?!

Question:

My friend told me wine is good with ande's mints or junior mints.?

Does she mean white or red wine? Is wine supposed to be served room temp or cold?

Answers:
Red wine and chocolate are a perfect combo. I personally don't like chocolate mint anything but gimme a box of truffles and a bottle of red, I'm in heaven.

Probably white, but this sounds awful regardless.

What she means is Port wine or sherry, both of which are desert wines. They are robust and very strong with a sweet taste to them. They are both excellent in my book, but don't buy the cheap vintages. They taste awful. When you buy port or sherry, remember that you get what you pay for.

ewe...neither.
have you ever tasted wine of any kind? Really does sound nasty. She might be teasing you. I used to talk my little brother into drinking chocolate milk when he was drunk. It was hilarious and he did it every time.

Well for anyone who hasent tasted wine yes it would sound gross.

It is meant for a red wine and a dessert wine..more of a sweet wine...

now ive tried it with hersey kisses not andes mints...cause the mint and chocolate would be silly.

but i do have to say chocolate with a red dessert (sweeter wine) is good not a ton but a glass or two

I bet it would be fabulous with a raspberry dessert wine.

I'm sure your friend is either playing a joke on you or does not have a clue.
Ande's mints and junior mints are just candy, though if a VERY inventive chef used them sparingly with a much better dessert, they might pair well with a rich port (red) or other dessert wine.

Ande's mints go well with a cup of very good coffee, and junior mints go well after a big tub of popcorn at the movies.
