Does anyone know how to make jell-o shots?!

Question:

Does anyone know how to make jell-o shots?

Could you please tell me what I need to make them and how to make them. Thanks.

Answers:
Jello shots are easy.

For your convenience, buy a bunch of small plastic portion cups, that way when the shots are done, the cups can be thrown away.

Any flavor of Jello will do.

The directions on the box say to boil water, then mix the jello powder in. Boil half of the required water by the recipe, once it is at a rolling boil (meaning it is boiling really well) take the pan off the heat and add the other half of the liquid in vodka. Then add your powder. Pour into your cups, chill and serve.

Your shots will have a little zing to them, but won't be so strong with alcohol that they taste bad.

Have fun!

You get Jello; you make it as directed but add alcohol before putting it in the fridge. Simple as that.

Oh how I love jello shots!!! I make mine in the freezer, since the alcohol does not freeze! Make as directed only instead of the water add vodka or tequila. I have made with ice cubes for a not so strong but i like just using the alcohol. Try coconut rum it is very good in the jello shots, but you will need to try a stronger rum other than malibu and parrot bay. Tequila tastes better in the citrus kinds of jello lime/ lemon. But whatever way have fun!!!!!
oh and I don't boil or do any of that i just mix a hell of a lot easier and the result is the same.

Follow the directions on the Jell-O box, when adding the water - add 1/2 of the required amount and the rest vodka.
(Vodka is the norm but you can generally use alcohol)

My favorite is 99 Blackberries and raspbarry Jell-O !!!

I believe that you mix the jello as usual except only use half of the water they tell you too and substitute the other half with vodka or whatever alcohol you're using. You could always check recipes.com to double check.

Ingredients
1 6-ounce package of gelatin (flavored or unflavored -- you decide)
16 ounces (2 cups) boiling water
6 ounces cold water
10 ounces 80-proof Alcohol (see tip for other proof liquors)
Steps
Assemble ingredients listed in the "Things You'll Need" section below.
In a bowl, mix boiling water with the powdered gelatin until fully dissolved. Give it at least a minute to fully activate the gelatin.
Let gelatin cool for five or ten minutes to reduce alcohol vapor loss.
Stir in cold water and alcohol.
A tray of jello shots prior to refrigeration.Pour resulting mixture into shot glasses or plastic cups.
Put the shot glasses or cups onto a tray and let the Jello set for two hours in the refrigerator.
another way to enjoy jello

go to this web site and there are number of different kinds of jello shots you can make.
http://www.recipezaar.com/recipes.php?q=...

Make your Jello as directed but instead of cold water use cold liquor..heres some good ones

Peach Schnapps-Orange Jello
Quervo Gold-Lime Jello
Cherry Vodka-Black Cherry Jello
99 Bananas-Strawberry Jello
Malibu Rum-Cherry Jello

The list is endless, just experiment and have fun.

Whatever you do, do not use everclear. I boil 1 c. water and add the jello, stir then add 1. c. vodka, rum, or tequila. I use red jello for rum, lime for tequila, and peach for vodka. You can buy portion cups at sam's club. I also offer these with whipped topping on them. They are great conversation starters.
