Ask Gregory House.
He is a user of Vicodin, a competent, rarely-wrong doctor, and he is never reticent in letting people know his opinion on anything.

Take with food. It says this on the bottle for a reason. If you don't eat, you may vomit. If you take too much, you may vomit, if you drink on it, you may vomit. That is why they are a Prescription...
you also don't have 500mg of Vicodin. You have 5 mg of Hydrocodone. You have 500mg of Tylenol. This is a combination Narcotic/analgesic. If you take four of them you will be taking 2000mg of tylenol. Don't do that.

Please heed this warning. you should only take it if a Doctor prescribes it.

My Husband is taking it now. Please eat something before you take it so you won't get sick at your stomache. You will either be sleepy or experience dizziness. Don't take this with milk even if the doc or pharmacist says its ok. What they don't tell you is that the calcium in the milk weakens the effect of the pain pill. If you were given the generic form don't worry it's still the same thing as vicodine just made by a company that doesn't charge you as much for the same thing.

It will just make you sleep if you have never taken it before.

You need some serious help, little girl in high school.
Why don't you concentrate on getting an education and appearing intelligent.
What a waste of a life.
