Answers: i can hold a 64 oz soda for quite some time but after like 2 beers i am dying to pee!

to be technical, it's because alcohol suppresses release of ADH (antidiuretic hormone) from the pituitary, which makes people urinate. alcohol also shifts fluid from the blood vessels into the cells for several hours, which is another reason we feel dehydrated after we drink.

You measured your pee??! How many oz's more was it?

Alcohol releases a hormone from your pituitary gland that acts like a diuretic making you pee a lot. One of the reasons you feel so dehydrated is you pee out all of your liquid.

Alcohol and hops are both diuretics.

Yes, the alcohol works on the brain to shut off the signal to reuptake the fluids you take in. While its making you loopy, its making the system that regulates your fluids loopy. This is why you get so dehydrated when you drink. You must drink extra plain water after drinking to offset the effect.
