Answers: Obvioulsy countrys like france drink the most as they have a bottle of wine with almost every dinner.

Drinking, binge and getting drunk are completely different concepts; Italians, French and Spaniards drink; German and Scots binge; English and American get drunk.
It's all about what kind of alcoholic is drunk and HOW, even more than "how much".

AMERICA! Right here in my little Hee Haw Hell of a town. my ex or my bf or whatever he is right now... he and his two friends drank a 30 pack within 2 hours. and then they opened another one and there's only like 2 left. they had like 20 beers to themselves. I drink A LOT. I killed off two bottles of Jack Daniels and Smirnoff within two hours with two friends of mine. WOWZA
Considering the US has a bar and a package store at pretty much every corner as well as a rehab facility every two blocks I am going to go with the US.

Well it is very interesting to hear that people from the US think they are worst! In the UK we are, of course, told UK is worst and that our drinking binge drinking culture is second to none! Obviously more people in US, but it terms of the way people drink..it would be great to know the 'truth'.. really interesting to hear your opinions. Cheers.
Actually... the strongest drinkers I've ever experienced were in neither of those countries, but in Scandinavia.
We used to go to Sweden (best. country. ever! btw) every summer and let me tell you - those guys can DRINK!
Hard liquor in large quantities... and preferably home-brewed too.
Gotta have something to do when you're only getting about four hours of daylight during the winter months ;)
Those guys have the US and UK drinkers beat any day.
the USA, not something to be proud of tho, North Dakota is the No. 1 state for binge drinking, but not No. 1 for consumption
Germany! I would say. Half the people in the city at night walks around town wasted. People after work go home sleep. wake up at midnight or 2am... wake up.. go party... change in their work clothes and go strait to work! It's nuts over there!
