Hangover remedies anyone?!

Question:

Hangover remedies anyone?

I accidently ran into a 12 pack of beer that was just sitting there in my fridge. Just sitting there...calling out to me...drink me. And I'm weak and now I'm in a pickel cuz I have stuff to do tommorow (no work, took the day off). I say booze. How say you?

Answers:
oooh boy-- well, try to eat something before you go to sleep- cereal, pizza, pasta...also drink at least two cups of water to clear out your system a little..also, leave some tylenol by the bed so that when you wake up, you will have easy access to it when the headache starts up....good luck hun. :)

haha man i drink a beer or two in the morning and its all goood bro. sounds crazy but works

Eat something greasy- and next time before you drink go to Walgreen's and at the counter they have these pills that you can take to prevent a hang over and my friends say they work really well. They have a clever name but I can't think of it now! Good Luck

Drink cold water take two asprins and eat crakers that helps me and just rest try to sleep it off then later on eat something like soup or toast

Superfood, either the Odwalla kind or the Naked brand. Like many other people said, water before bed, water when you wake up. And keep yourself occupied, to take your mind off your headache.

Try toast with mozzarella cheese, feta cheese and bacon. I know it sounds gross, but it really helps me feel better!

Like others have said here, Water, Water, Water. The main cause of hangover symptoms is dehydration. If you try to remain adequately hydrated, this should help to resolve the underlying cause of the symptoms. That, and I personally find that a decent amount of sleep helps out, too. Next time, tell the other six beers to shut up and leave you alone! :)

Dude...Alka-Seltzer Morning Relief. I swear by it. It's brilliant. The water helps with the dehydration, the fizz-fizz helps with the sour stomach, the pain reliever helps with the headache, and they add caffeine which gets you going and helps with the headache. It works. "No" to "Go" in one glass.

From the website:

"Alka-Seltzer Morning Relief packs a maximum strength pain reliever and caffeine into a refreshing citrus effervescent product that is gentle on your stomach and gives you a burst of energy to get you going again. (Caffeine has been found to help relieve headaches. In fact, the National Headache Foundation has found that when caffeine is added to the common nonprescription pain relievers, like aspirin, the pain relieving effect is increased by 40%.) The unique combination of ingredients in Alka-Seltzer Morning Relief is designed to relieve minor aches and pains with fatigue or drowsiness associated with a hangover, and can also be used for headaches, body aches and pain alone."

Eating before drinking always helps, as well as drinking water throughout the night. Take a multi-vitamin before you hit the hay (if you can remember) or preferably before you go out. Alcohol depletes A, B(6 in particular) and C vitamins. Avoid sugary alcoholic beverages....they deplete those vitamins faster and will make your hangover worse.

Sleep, Asprin and I hear from alot of people and they swear buy it - Beer !! :)

Here's a great hangover cure:

Take two headache / anti-inflammatory tablets, a bottle of sports drink and a glass of water before going to bed. I love this remedy as it actually works. I take two Advill, Powerade and a glass of Water. Electrolyte drinks such as Powerade can only be absorbed by having some fluids ( water) in the body. Stomach cramps can occur if you drink sports drinks on their own.

The only sure fire way to get rid of a hangover is to breath in 100% pure oxygen. Sounds funny but it will also burn off any more drinks that are in your system. This is an old pilots, and firefighter remedy. It really does work you can be wasted and 15 minutes with pure O2 and your sober as the day your born.
