How to stock the bar for our wedding?!

Question: Our wedding is coming up in June, and we're stocking the bar at the reception ourselves. We're doing a limited bar with no time limit, but we aren't sure how much or what to buy. We know we want to do kegs for the beer, maybe two selections, but we aren't sure what two beers to choose, (The kegs will be discreetly stored, so it won't look like a frat party bar), and we want to serve either a couple of signature cocktails or a limited liquor selection. We also plan to do one white wine and one red wine, which my brother (who is a bartender and wine connosieur) is going to get for us as a gift. We're not sure about the liquor mostly, and the amounts. What would you suggest for a wedding with approximately 200 guests with varied tastes, so that we can satisfy as many people as possible with the selections?

Well that sounds like quite an event. For starters, you may want to check out this article, http://www.liquorlive.com/cmsdisplay.php...

It explains how to have a fully stocked bar.

In addition, if there are any drinks you find on that site that you think may be popular at your wedding, you can use the drink calculator to determine exactly how much liquor you will need.

Ex: http://www.liquorlive.com/drinks.php?opt...

Scroll down to the bottom, then insert how many estimated drinkers and how many drinks per person, then press calculate.

Hope this helps! and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

your fav whiskey some kind of rum i suggest capt. morgan, then just some kind of vodka but have plenty of mixers for each but i would just stick with thoese 3 basics.

hire an independent caterer, that way it is one less headache for you and if any booze ends up missing, you wont be responsible.-blurey
