Well the maturity levels will be very different. When I lived in the dorms (I was 18 to 20) there were a few people in their early 20s who lived there as well, either starting college late or transfering. I think there is something awesome about living in the dorms and is definately something you should experience if you are comfortable with it. You will make so many friends and create lasting memories. Be aware a lot of people will be asking you to buy alcohol for them. Of course you don't have to and hopefully everyone will be mature enough to handle a no. There are rules and you may not appreciate being told to turn down your music, etc if you have lived on your own for so many years. Also the dorms tend to be a little bit more expensive than an apartment even though they don't advertise that way. Hope this helps!

YES much too old in my opinion.

I would say yes. Most of the other people living in the dorms are going to be 18-20 yrs old. But if that doesn't bother you then go for it!

Cause and efect. 1+1+1=?

Not if it's co-ed.

honestly no... i knew plenty of older students who lived on campus at 24, if not older. my freshman year roommate was 25 years old. maybe you should consider calling the residence life office and getting placed in a building that houses older people. like the 21 plus campus if aplicable. good for you for going to college!

No. You might want to consider going to dorms open for married couples or people of your age group. They tend to be quieter and low profile. Great for studying!

Depends on the dorm, and on you. Do you like a younger crowd? I'd avoid dorms no matter what age I was. Looking back at my dorm experiance, ugh.

Yeahh. It's a lil old. Having your own place would be much more fun anyways.

def sounds kinda old ....unless u are cool like laslo from real genius lmao lmao

No not really but you should look into housing for older students.
You might be able to get an apartment or something!!

It depends on your level of maturity...just remember if you're living in a freshman dorm, your roommates are probably gonna be 18 years old. I remember when I was in college, we had a roommate one year that was 28. She had a 38 year old boyfriend. It was very weird. A little creepy even. Maybe you should consider getting your own off-campus apartment or a place with older students??
