Question:

Why is San Luis Obispo Co. beer brewed in Pennsylvania?

Answers:
Lower production costs, lower tax costs. theyre a business its all about making and or saving $.

There are several breweries in Pa. like the Lion brewery (i think) in Wilkes-Barre that do contract brewing for many other breweries. It's actually a fairly common practice.

SLO Brew actually sold to another larger brewery a few years back. I can't remember who though. The brew pub in SLO actually is no longer even called SLO Brew, it is Downtown Brew. and according to the SLO Brew website, there is a stamford, connecticut address as a distributor.

wow he mentions several breweries in pa and doesn't even mention the largest and longest serving brewery and pa favorite yeungling
