Has Absynthe got many calories?
Just wondering the amount of calories in a shot of absynthe? I know the way to have it but i would love to know the intake in 1 shot. And is it better to have as opposed to a 360ml spirit on a night out??

I don't know about the calorific content, but I think that the general idea with Absinthe is to get a bit trippy off the wormwood in it, so first of all, make sure that the brand you are drinking was made with wormwood.
If for example the absinthe is 60% proof, it will have more calories per measure then vodka at 40% proof, because it is the alcohol that gives you the calories.
But if the question relates to 'how few calories can I consume, to get as mashed as possible?' then i would go for absinthe, and a beer, as the two together will go very well and get you drunk quickly. (Not in the same glass, mind!)
I believe also that if you get too drunk, it stops the halucinogenic affects of the absinthe, so it is better to drink it in moderation, and then enjoy the woozy crazy world of absinthe.
