Question:

WOW !! there doesn't seem to be a place to ask this question.?

I have a friend who brought me back cigars from Poland. They need to be hydraited very badly. How do I rehydraite these dry cigars. I have two humidors and a lot of capibilities.

Answers:
You need to rehydrate them slowly or the wrappers can split because they do not absorb water as rapidly. The celery idea will work.

I've never tried to rehydrate a cigar, but have re-hydrated other smoking things and this is how I did it.
Put the item that needs to be hydrated into a jar or plastic bag and add a very small piece of celery. Let it sit for a day and check on it. If it needs more hydration then take to old piece out and add a little bit bigger piece and check again in 24. Celery is mostly water and have little to no flavor so it should work well.

Cigars plural how are they packaged
you have a humidor how do you add moisture Now.?
A wooden box? fold a paper towel and tape or tack it in the lid Moisten with water test daily adding a few drops of water.
??? but you knew that !
