Answers: my recipe of yeast ,half cup of orange jucie at room temp, corn meal sugar and malt.

If you are making shine the MALTED GRAIN provides the enzymes to convert the starch in the corn meal to sugars that the yeast can consume. the yeast should be added last after the the mash has cooled to 70 degrees.

Malted Grain is the main source of sugar for fermentation in beer. It is just another type of sugar so yes it does increase the alc. content. Yeast will eat the sugars and turn them into alc., called fermentation.

What are you making??

Your recipe sounds as if it would produce something I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy -- if there were a chance of my getting caught.
