Beer or Wine ?!

Question: Which do you prefer, and is it the same buzz/alcohol feeling in both ?

Hard to say which I prefer. I like them both. I have to be in a mood for wine though, like having a nice relaxing dinner but when it's party time, I like beer better. The buzz is definitely different for me. Wine makes me more amorous whereas beer makes me goofy and want to go out and dance!

nEITHER: i DONT DRINK. Sorry bout the caps.

I like to drink beer rather then wine, wine gives me one hell of a hangover.

Since wine has more natural sugars in it, it creates a worse hangover. I've been to the olive garden a few times and they give out free samples of wine. Since its free I try as many as they'll let me. And really for the most part I just don't like most wines. The vinegar taste is just not pleasant for me. But there was this fruity stuff (some crazy itallian name) that was actually really good. Tasted like bubbly fruit, no vinegar taste at all. It was pink too.

But I'd still rather have a beer.

I prefer beer... Craft beer... Not that crap that gets pushed on the American public as beer.

The buzz from the alcohol is the same don't let anyone tell you otherwise. All alcohol (wine, beer and liquor) contain the exact same thing ethanol. Any difference that people feel in the buzz is completely psychological. As far as the hangover goes... there is no actual proof that the added sugars of wine cause worse. Hangovers are caused by the dehydrating effects of the ethanol and any thought that hangovers are increased by impurities is purely based on anecdotal evidence. Sulfates however are a completely different story. They don't contribute to the hangover per say, but they do cause headaches in the majority of people.

they dont feel the same for me. Wine seems to get me drunker, like happier feeling while beer makes me more tired drunk. I like wine.
