I agree that Heineken is overrated. But the most underrated is Yuengling (as the poster above me mentions). It's my favorite.

oh man i love rolling rock!

most underrated : pyramid apricot ale and blue moon ale! yummy!

most overrated: any budweiser

underrated: ying-ling (northeast beer)

I have to disagree with your heineken theory. i had never liked it until i started living in europe and now it's a favorite beer. the U.S. can't even come close

one i love that i have only been able to drink in austria is called steigl or stiegl and it is perfection for me

sorry i can never drink rolling rock after i saw the same billboard for moonvertising like 30 times and was supe pumped and when i watched the next full moon and a twelve pack and a half later nothing ever happened.

Overrated- never took a liking to corona (i know im gonna get s&%t over this)

Underrated- MGD

Amen to that heineken is a piss poor beer and so is budweiser (tastes like nothing to begin with but the more you drink the more it resembles industrial cleaner). You feel bloated after 3 heinies eh..

Most underrated i'd say hollandia, its super cheap but surprisingly drinkable.

I think Coors is the most overrated.. it's not good, ever. I mean, I guess if your life is sitting on your RV watching Nascars drive fast and turn left, it's good.. but otherwise.

Underrated: Fat Tire, Yuengling, and Arrogant bastard. They are all really good, and not ridiculously (well, mostly) priced.

Trompe le Morte is amazing as well.

heineken and rolling rock might as well be the same beer in my mind

Overrated: Heineken, Rolling Rock, Corona, Guinness, Blue Moon

Underrated: Olfabrikken Porter, Hair of the Dog Adam, Stone Smoked Porter, Left Coast Milk Stout, Yeti Imperial Stout

ok, maybe those aren't exactly underrated, but thats what I like to drink

Heineken is a good one for overrated, but I'm going to trump it with Blue Moon. BM is the worst example of a Belgian style wheat I've ever had the misfortune to come across.

Underrated: PBR. Pabst has the most "real" beer flavor of all the craptastic Macros.

Heineken is a sham of a beer as are a lot of large brewery beers, Grolsch and Amstel (among Dutch beers).

Some of the most luscious beers are the Westmalle Dubbel (a Belgian monastery beer), Konig Ludwig (one of the most aromatic white beers, excellent aroma of bananas). I also like Veltins among pilsners (not too skunky).

Heineken is certainly high on the over rated list, at least if it is in a bottle. The canned or draught keg stuff if actually very drinkable. Corona and Rolling Rock aren't really any better, but Corona has better commercials.
Murphy's Stout is highly underrated. It is richer, more flavorful and has a creamier head than Guiness. Many of the American microbrews are more unknown than underrated, but they are thoroughly deserving of any and all accolades. Ohio and Michigan have amazing breweries and for the most part get less press than they should.

gotta give it to diesel(Budweiser) no one drinks it around here the taste is exceptional and it goes down easy
