What is Campari and where can I find it?!

Question: I am trying to follow a recipe to make "The Bicicletta" and it asks for 1 ounce of Campari. Is there a specific brand? What exactly is this ingredient?

Just about any big liquor store will have this. It's usually with the flavored spirits like Jager and stuff. The bottle looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Campa...
It's a brand name aperitif that only comes like the picture.
It's got a rough flavor that takes some getting used to.

The ideal Campari drink is probably the Negroni. It's a real classy drink and it has a pretty sophisticated flavor.

It's a type of bitters, and you can probably get it wherever you get your hard alcohol.

It's a very bitter liqueur that Italians for some reason like. It's used in a few cocktails, but I don't think it's very good. Usually, the Italians would drink it as an aperitif.

Go to Beverages & More, and you'll find it.

Campari is a bitter, red, aperitif from Italy. Campari is a specific brand, and I don't think there's anything else like it.
You should be able to buy it at any liquour store. Or grocery store if you live somewhere where that's allowed. (hooray for california)
Campari and soda is really good. it's just campari, club soda, squeeze of lime on the rocks. yum
