Is this a good brand of vodka?!

Question: What is the best brand of vodka, experts? I have "Aboslut" vodka from Sveden. Is this a top-o'-the-line?

What is considered the Nike of vodkas?

In my experience, the point of vodka is to not taste it. It's a way to have an alcoholic drink without an unpleasant alcoholic flavor, covering it up with the use of mixers such as juice or syrup. Vodka is the only liquor that I hate the flavor of in itself. Certain brands such as Absolut or Smirnoff offer flavored varieties which are certainly useful in mixing drinks. Absolut does seem smoother than cheaper brands, but with enough to cover the taste, any vodka works. If you're looking to impress someone, waste your money and buy Grey Goose. Be sure you show them the bottle, or they'll never notice. ;D

grey goose

Grey Goose #1, and Absolute #2, in my opinion

Belvedere Vodka from Poland- premium vodka distilled from rye.

After working in a liquor store for 5 years, I have to say the best vodka is Finlandia

There are two kinds of vodka out there: Potato and grain.

After that, it's all about taste, taste, taste. Absolut has been the Frat Boy Favorite for as long as I can remember, because that heavy glass bottle freezes well, and retains the cold on the bar for a while, and it used to be fairly cheap as "top shelf" went. It's creeping up in price now though.

Ketel1, Grey Goose, Skyy, etc are all supposed to be "great" vodkas, but I find them very strong and bold. They are great _really_ cold, like in a vodka martini, but in a warmer drink, like mixed with a juice, or cola, or a white russian they are quite strong and overpowering.

Go to a bar, and order some of each, and see what you like, before you drop 50 bucks or more on a bottle of vodka. You might find, like I do, that you can happily drink the Wolfschmidts in the gallon bottle for 20 bucks, rather than the fifth of "Craft distill dujour" for 80.

Absolut doesn't suck. There's better and much, much worse out there.

grey goose and absolut are about the same.
It all comes down to individual preference.
As for me I would settle for absolut.

Hi perfect,
Absolut is OK but it has the claim to fame only because it is the "to be seen drink" but if you want a top-o-the-line try these two, Wishnoshka cherry vodka or Vybrona vodka spirit, they are both Polish. Careful though they are both 100% proof.
Available in the UK from good wine & spirit merchants try

Well, from what I've heard Grey Goose is probably your most popular. Honestly, I prefer Ciroc. It's smoother, and to me, I like that quality in my alcohol.

Absolut is ... okay, I guess. I really can't tell the difference between it and some of the top tier stuff anyway.

1.Smirnoff
2. absolut

but they all taste so simular wen mixed it don't really matter

Vodka is my choice liquor. In terms of ranking...i would probably put it in the middle but towards the bottom of my middle. I'd choose belevedere, ketel one, grey goose, chopin, and three olives for my top choices...Skyy would fall right behind and then absolut followed by smirnoff and svedka. That's my personal opinion, but here's a link to a forum, you can get some more opinions.
