How long does it take for jello shots to set?!

Question: I want to make jello shots, but can't find a recipie that states approx. how long it will take for them to sit in the fridge. Has anyone made them before and remember about how long it took?

That is going to depend on how big the cups or shot glasses are and how much you fill them up. I've had smaller ones take about an hour while larger ones can take several hours to firm up. You can put them in the freezer but they can develop a layer of frost so if you do this try leaving them in the freezer for just long enough to show they are starting to firm up then transfer them to the fridge to accelerate the process.

About 3 hours in a shallow pan

About 2 hours :D

i usually thought them in the freezer....because they have alcohol they wont freeze but it speeds up the process. i don't remember exactly how long it took...its been a while.

If you have a great freezer.....about 1 hour or so.

around three hrs but watch yourself. last time i had some was my first time and my a++h++++ buddy pusuaded me to jump off a roof. moral is dont serve to anyone underage or you will be screwed although i didn break anythin or have cops called but you may not be so lucky make sure everyone paces theirselves. i did not kno that the darker the color the harder the liquor. damn nubies
