Whisky or whiskey?!

Question: Two questions in one, first of how do you like so spell it?
I spell without the e
Secondly and slightly more technical, are there any known chemicals or oils etc in whisky aside from the obvious that gives you the buzz you feel?

Whiskey is North American, Whisky is Irish or scottish.

Same thing, different flavor, different spelling.

secondly: No.

There are flavors imparted by ingredients or aging (what kind of barrel, what had previously been in it, charcoal filtering, etc), but aside from that.. not really.

"rye" is terminology for a specific type of whiskey, like Jim Beam, where 51% or more of the grain used is rye. It has a different flavor, obviously.

The spelling refers to the type of whiskey and its place or origin. Both are correct. Also, some Canadians refer to whiskey as Rye.

I have no idea about the second half of your question. Sorry!

i dislike canadians

Whisky Scotland
Whiskey America(Bourbon)
