What liquor should I add to my cabinet?!

Question: I have tequila, brandy, burbon, rum, triple sec, vodka (regular, berry and vanilla), gin, mixers (cranberry, blue raspberry), coffee liqueur, and some wine. Each time I go to the store I pick up a bottle of something to add...what should I add? Suggestions?

Round it out with some Cointreaux or Grande Marnier. A great orange liqueur goes well in so many, many things!

If you can get ahold of it from an importer, get some Creme d'Peche. Its is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted.

H20 :P

Jager!!!

ur missing bacardi.....
n ur gonna get a liver desease...lOl
just kidding.....
peace ?

bacardi

Gold Schlaugger

Rye...

Ummm, I think you maybe drink too much :)

What type of Vodka, the best is Grey Goose, i saw that you had it but that's the best and Bacardi Watermelon.

wild turkey w/honey, its the best

Hmmm...kahlua...ugh I can't think of anything you haven't already listed. Whiskey maybe? But I don't drink whiskey, it's not in my bar. I have everything you've listed as well. I love wine so I keep a variety of wines too.

Amaretto Disaronno
you sound like you are well stocked up

You might like Ameretta. It has a nice flavor.

a bottle of scotch, some irish whiskey, gran marnier, amaretto, any of these would be good additions.

A bottle of Bailey's.

Amaretto, Cognac, Baileys Irish Creme, Schnapps (peppermint, butterscotch etc.) Spiced Rum and Tropical Rum.

How about some more liquers - irish cream (Bailey's), hazelnut liquer (Frangelico), Buttershots....

For Scotch and Soda drinkers, maybe?

Tonic water? With Vodka or Gin.

I think that if you get the following you have covered most of the basics:

Whisky (a single malt, perhaps)
Sherry
Vermouth
Menthe
Cointreau
Anise (Sambuca or Pernod)

also, do you have Angostura bitters?

Once a bartender friend recomended to have a list of "signature cocktails" and buy from that list the ingredients that I need. It simplifies the management of the bar and allows you rotate your inventory better.

i'm not sure what's even left. most of the people giving answers here have just been giving brand names of products that are already listed:

rum: bacardi
burbon: wild turkey
coffee liqueur: kaluha

i'd suggest a mixture of flavored liquors such as cinnamn (hot damn) apple (apple pucker), watermellon and peppermint.

it's always good to have everything on hand, but what you need the most of really depends on what you're guests are interested in.

some people even like the little pre-packaged hooters (tubes of purple hooters or bamam slammas)

It truly depends on what you drink. It sounds like you have a good solid selection to work with.

I would add dark rum, Irish Whiskey and Scotch. I don't care much for sweet mixed drinks.

Some of my friends would have Jack Daniels in there.

I noticed you didn't mention any vermouth -or is that one of the mixers?

I suggest finding a couple of liquor stores that have a wide selection and experiment. If you like flavored vodkas, I would ask if you tried pepper vodka? It's very popular in Russia for a long time.

Wheres the Goose, and Patron, and Johnny, Remy, Chivas?

Absinthe

Tawny Port

You're close to having a fully stocked bar. Here's what you're missing, and my recommendations for reasonably priced brands. I would pick up the rum first, as it opens up so many fruit-based drinks that you could otherwise not make.

WHISKEYS
Scotch - Johnny Walker Black
Irish - Bushmills
Canadian - Crown Royal

RUMS
Spiced - Captain Morgan
Silver - Bacardi

LIQUEURS AND FORTIFIED WINE WINES
Vermouth - Martini and Rossi
Chocolate - Godiva
Irish Creme - Baileys
Schnapps - Dekuyper: pepper, butterscotch, peppermint, banana, peach

MIXERS
Grenadine
Bitters
Sour mix

Lay these in one at a time, and pretty soon you'll be able to mix 99% of the drinks in any bartender's bible. Good luck!

you need a bottle of Clan Macgregor

Patron or puerto rican tequila

hennessi I think that's how you spell it

yea i'd go with either jager or i tried citron the other day. it was really good it's made by bacardi and it has rum, and tequila in it with a hint of lime. it was really good so i'd advise to get that.

Good irish whiskey
bottle of baileys cream liquer
Tia Maria
Bottle of Port
Creme de menthe

jamaican rum.. its hard .. but handy to have
