How long can unrefrigerated 80 proof vodka last?!

Question: I'm having a party in 3 weeks and wanted to know if I could use one of the bottles I bought a couple 2, 3 days ago.

Years...
it wasn't in a refrigerated case when you bought it.

Most alcohols, unlike food, don't need to be refigerated.

in my house? not very long. but you r fine it will last months as far as it's rich, tastey goodness...CHEERS

Hard liquor can last for years unrefridgerated if for some reason it did not get drunk after it was opened.

It is good for years. Alcohol has no shelf life.

thanks for making me laugh. alcohol is a preservative, it won't spoil.-blurey

yes it will be fine for your party, would not last that long here tho.

2 - 3 days >..?? you can leave the cap off

It'll last probably longer than we will.

spirits will last almost forever (well until it's drunk). The alcohol content is high enough to kill any bacteria.

Some brandy's (very similar alcohol content to vodka) exist from the Napoleonic era and are still perfectly drinkable.
