This is what I do.
Any flavor of jello you like will do.
Boil half of the water required in the recipe. Once it is boiling well, take it off the heat, add the other half of the liquid in your alcohol of choice, I typically use vodka.
I use the disposable plastic cups to put my jello shots in. Chill.
These have a nice flavor, the all alcohol jello shots have a strong taste, but you may be ok with that. But for the masses, half and half is a great option.
Make some using half water, half vodka, whatever. Chill.
Just replace half the water (or a little les than that) with good-quality booze.
My son makes FABULOUS Jello shots with flavored vodka!

Jello shots are probably one of the easiest type of shot to make, and a hell of a lot more tastier than most. There are tonnes of flavors, but here's a good one nonetheless...

1 cup boiling water
1 cup Malibu coconut rum

Mix hot water and jello. Add rum. Pour into 2 ounce cups. Serve after the jello has set.
