What does smoking feel/taste like?!

your first cig makes you cough, until someone shows you how to inhale. Then when you finish your first cig, you have a head rush, kind of like a buzz for a few minutes, so you like it, and you do it every chance you get, very soon you are hooked. Your hands smell, your clothes smell, you spend alot of money for cigs, have to hide it from people, find time to smoke, find a place to smoke, whether it's raining, snowing, you need a cig, so you'll put up with just about anything to get one. Even poor health.
Just go bum a cig off an adult. Most will let you take a puff out of curiosity.
If you really want to know or get a good idea, find a cigarette butt, from an ashtray or on the ground it doesn't matter. Put it to your lips and take a draw. Not lite just air. Now lick your lips! Thats what it tastes like! YUCK!!!!!!!!!! Every morning when you wake up that is what you will taste.
Once you start, life wont be the same without a smoke, but you will eventually get cancer and after that in about seven months you will die after going through hell on earth with the pain and Chemo therapy. :)

once you get addicted it's doesn't feel/taste like much, it's more that when you don't have one you feel anxious and you crave one. it taste kind of like chemically leather. and it gives you kind of a head rush. but not intense, you could get a similar feeling from drinking o cool glass of water or a hot drink when you are cold--just a rush of a slightly different feeling. cigarettes are sooooooo adictive. you think you can just try them. but just tryining them leads to just trying a little more and you dont's feeel addictied so you keep trying to figure out what all the hype is about---then you get addicted---and you finally really understand---that it's not that smoking feels so good it's that not smoking feels so bad once you are hooked. also if you go inhale a bumch of exhaust froma car--it's kinda like that
It's a weird sensation at first and usually leaves you feeling a bit light-headed, kind of a head rush. Your mouth will taste like a pile of poo afterwards, at least until you get used to it (which I wouldn't recommend). Your first cigarette is usually not that pleasant as I recall thinking why would anyone get addicted to this but nicotine is a slippery slope. The little buggers (cigarettes) are the devil and they are a bitc# to quit. Better to experience it vicariously by asking others what it feels like than to try it yourself. The first time I tried to smoke one, it hurt my throat and made me cough. It tastes pretty bad, too.
Needless to say, that was the last and only cigarette for me.
Honestly... it doesn't taste good at all but it does give you like a 10 second high after each time you inhale. I never got hooked though. I would totally hate to rely on cigarettes.

tastes like crap. No one ...I repeat NO ONE smokes a cigarette because they like the way it tastes. It's the Nicotine. If we really liked the way it tasts, we'd lick ashtrays.
I smoke American Spirit cigarettes, they have NO additives and so taste a bit cleaner, nothing more than tobacco.
It is very hard to describe what smoking feels and tastes like. I think it is wonderful, but you have to find a cigarette you like. I like menthols, and inhaling them gives you a cool feeling kinda like after your brush your teeth with mint toothpaste. It feels good after you get used to it, which doesn't take long. You get the taste when you inhale, but for me I get more taste during the exhale.
I always say "smoking is as close as you can get to having sex with your lungs"!

Now to your question, it depends what kind of ciggies you buy. The menthol ones taste almost like the flavour described on the packet, but basically its like inhaling "smooth" smoke lol

It can taste like heaven if you smoke top quality ones. I recommend Sobranie Black Russian. It cost 9 dollars a pack but it is worth it. But in general cigarettes taste like chemical. That is why I have chosen to smoke only a few top quality European cigarettes a week and truly enjoy them. And in that way i won't get addicted because they are freaking expensive.
