Answers:
If you want a wine list, consult a sommelier... they can give you the best rundown on whats hip and classic. If you want to serve liquor, go to a local liquor store and ask what their top 3 sellers are in each category, that will give you somewhat of an idea on what local people in your area enjoy at home. As for a restaurant or bar idea, not many people are going to give you a design idea without something for it, even on here. My best advice is to take the best parts of your favorite places i.e. lighting, service style, decor, seating, place settings, line set-up, and convert the best parts into your own scheme, with your own flair. Also consider on the food end that fresher is better. Look into your area purveyors for meats and vegetables grown or processed locally. The last hint I can give as a chef, is let the food speak for itself. Buy the best, and keep your preparations simple. A baby greens salad with goat cheese and toasted walnuts, with a simple balsamic vinaigrette. Stuff like that, made with the best ingredients, is heavenly. Good luck.

Ok. Beverage list. List of all basic beverages and wide range for your guests. Best if you can use several items to mix a huge variety of concoctions. Less wastage and more creativity on yr list. The beverage list and price is going to determine the crowd you gonna get. Basics on a simple beverage list are beers, cocktails, mocktails, wine and non-alcohol drinks (sparkling juices, appretizers), then last of all is mineral water.
