Since I live here, it has to be the great state of Texas. But asked on the sly, I really love Maine in the summertime.
My favorite state is Newcastle, Merlot and Henessy.

Out of the 16 US states that I've lived and traveled through, Missouri was the best. I've lived in Texas nearly all of my life and spent two years in central Missouri. It's a beautiful state, a bid humid, but beautiful. I recommend visiting Branson, Missouri as well as St. Louis.
