Famous Grouse whiskey with what....Ginger ale, coke or water??!

Question: can i first say its Whisky in scotland ...not whiskey . on its own or with a dash of water

Answers: can i first say its Whisky in scotland ...not whiskey . on its own or with a dash of water

It should be really be by itself. But if it must be with something i would suggest coke.

Coke and ice

Canadian Dry Ginger Ale! (yum!)

Blended (incl. Famous Grouse) with water. Single Malt neat.

Coke, ice and a little lime juice!

Nada... no ice, nothing.

A Single Malt scotch whisky is meant to be had straight. Some ppl do cut it with water.. but use spring water, not tap water with chlorine.

If you want coke or ginger ale to kill the whiskey 'taste', why not have a cheaper whisky!

on the rocks - lovely!!

cola and ice

on its own

ginger ale 4:1 don't waste the good whiskey tho

get cheap ****

Straight! Why spend money on a decent drink then dilute it so its almost tasteless??

Depends on your tastes. Are you a fan of whisky? what do you normally drink it with?
I would try it first, neat, but don't chug it, just sip and see what it is like. After that, add to it as you see fit.
I personally like scotch as a sour with a slice of orange.

water! then you can taste the whiskey! nice idea! I think I will go and get one!

just more whiskey please.........................

If the Famous Grouse whiskey you speak of is Scotch, neat with 1 ice cube. Mixing Scotch with Coke would be a travesty. If you are looking for something to mix with coke, Get your older friend to score you some cheap bourbon.

Sorry to be pedantic but Scotch incl Famous Grouse is whisky.

'Whiskeys' are the Irish ones.

anyway back to the question:

I'd drink it with either coke or ginger ale. Irish Whiskey drunk neat.

Straight....
