I've never tried Crown & Sprite but I have tried Crown with Coke and with Diet Coke. I'm not one for anything too sweet so I always mix my alcohol with Diet Coke. If you have mixed with Coke and the problem is the excessive sweetness try Diet Coke as a mixer instead.

Crown and coke sounds like an alcoholic girl from the south going out. Crown and sprite sounds fowl, don't ruin good whiskey by mixing it, if your going to mix get something without a taste to it like PGA or something.
